Asuka stood outside staring whil Shayna assaulted her friend post match. Lol

    she's injured though?

Read that the crowd shat on Shayna/Kairi. Strange when their NXT matches were very good.

So the thing in Rowan's cage was a cuddly spider.

Drew can be a big star but knowing fans, myself included, we'll probably turn on the guy a month after he wins the title.

    RKO :)

Beth took it like a star.

Edge is going to kill Orton when he returns

Its similar to the Triple H vs Orton feud where he have steph an RKO then wwe ****ed up the match by just having it a normal one and not no holds barred or another gimmick

I think Drew needs longer in the mix with a Brock before winning the title.

He should lose at Mania, batter someone on the Monday (AJ or someone like that) declaring he is not done and eventually win the title around Summerslam after a prolonged time kicking ass.

Loved Ortons promo.. this is the best he’s been in such a long time and this match is easily the most intriguing on the WM card.. compare the build to this with what we saw on SD a few days ago

Orton is cementing himself as one of the legit all-time greats with this feud.

this shows how bored he has been with the product for years. when he has something that he believes in and can get his teeth into, he truly is one of the great villains.

and he carries himself like a star.

couldn't have liked that segment more, and Beth was an absolute champion.

Said it for a long time, but I don’t think there’s anyone better to tell a story than a motivated Randy Orton. I’m not sure he’s capable of a 5 star match, but you don’t really mind that once he’s in this form.

Sorry to say it, but I really can’t stand Becky.. his women’s division is atrocious and needs a major revamp.. what she’s done is admirable but this current version of the Man is insufferable, cringe worthy and trying WAY too hard to be cool and entertaining

I think that's supposed to be the point, she's so high on her own hype/thinking no one can beat her, but eventually her complacency will be her downfall. There are tales like it scattered throughout TV/Film/Music history.

Yeah she's becoming very heelish with the bigheadedness. Though not sure is she meant to be heel? Who will be the one to bring her back down to Earth?

Beth does a better kick to the midsection than Owens. Owens does it like "Oh yeah, I'm meant to do this part first", but struggles to get his foot up high enough.
Always find it funny how they criticise an attack on someone, like they did with Beth and say how hard it was to watch, yet then show it on repeat.

Shayna obviously is going to be the pin in Becky's balloon at Wrestlemania.

Yeah, I think it's a good "Pride comes before a fall" story.

She's going from her cool leather jacket get-up to this craic...

    Shayna is her Clubber Lang!

Say what you want about Brock but the man call sell.

Absolutely, Wyatt could learn a few things from him about selling.

That randy Orton promo and his interaction with Beth Phoenix(took the RKO like a champ btw) was why even when he may be phoning it in and being bored he's a genius at pro wressling. I felt watching it back that randy believed what he was saying and I bought in. The mentioning of edge and Beth's daughters by name added more realism to it.

That crowd....what a pack of **** desperate to be seen as cool and edgy.

    Liv Morgan Is unreal

Tyler Bate is a lucky man

Who's is that random guy who is shown sometimes backstage who the wrestlers are talking too

Couldn't agree more, usually when people complain about a "smarky" crowd, I'd roll my eyes and ask who pissed in their cornflakes, that people are being cynical almost for the sake of it

But last nights crowd, especially during the Orton and Beth segment can go a fcuk themslves

When I was sitting at home I was hoping for the RKO too but only cause I love story telling in wrestling, if I was there I'd be booing the lord out of Orton.

I mean it was called by everyone who's watched wrestling a couple years

The only way to get the reaction they want, would have been for Randy to punt Beth and start going full 2009 vs HHH with Psycho Orton

Liv Morgan and Toni Storm!? I would have thought doing the rounds in the locker room was frowned upon these days. :pac:

Yeah. And silence for Baszler VS Kairi which wasn't actually that bad of a match imo anyways.

Ortons promo was deadly, I think the booking of this story has been WWE's best work in ages, though that wouldnt be too hard lol

Baszler vs Kari Sane was a lame duck. I personally didnt care for it

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,715 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

Shayna, as a new person, would not appeal to larger live raw crowds when all she had done is bite someone for no obvious reason.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,019 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

They should have had her win the Rumble and just drop this lame build.

One thing I'll give today's crowd is that they can be firm with their favourites. The Kabuki Warriors have earned the main audience's respect and Shayna is essentially a nobody on the main roster, but one who is getting a big push.

Her matches are designed using a rigid formula as well so I don't blame the crowd for ****ting on the match. Sane deserves better.

Are they going to continue with this whole Erick Rowan cage thing. It was the most cringeworthy thing/reveal I've ever seen.

As noted in the Elimination Chamber thread, the clocks changed in the States this week so the next 3 weeks of shows will be an hour earlier

They should have Edge come out ready to kill Orton and we get another 'full locker room run out'to try break them up
