Are we any clearer as to what team Klopp is picking tonight? It had been well sign-posted ahead of the previous rounds but I haven't seen much about tonight's game.

Ive genuinely no issue being eliminated from the FA Cup if it happens but I don't really see the point in doing a half measure solution - surely it would make more sense to either go full strength and try to win or go all youths and if they do it, great but if not, no major issues.

Bournemouth and Atletico are the main focus for me so if that means rotation tonight ahead of those, then so be it.

I have a feeling he'll go strong with maybe 2/3 changes max.

Not necessarily because he values the game as high at the others, but because he wants the same players to get back on the horse after a few below par performances and a bad defeat.

I reckon the players are p*ssed off at themselves, and rightly so, and I reckon Klopp will give them the opportunity to go and put it right against a good PL side

Timo Werner unfollowed RB Germany on Twitter after they posted those two gifs of him as a reaction to Liverpool losing. He now follows no one on Twitter.

Well if that's not a bad sign about his character...he does seem a bit thin skinned.

I don't know search out the Timo Werner song/chant you would need a very thick skin to play every week when fans sing that about you.

Hoever was on the bench at the weekend, and not Williams. Is Williams injured?

Anyone who listens to Second Captains has probably already heard this...

Another good thing about signing Timo Werner is that he comes with his own ready made song/chant:

"Timo Werner ist ein Hurensohn" which roughly translates as Timo Werner is a cnut :-)

This apparently comes from his decision to join Leipzig and has gone viral in Germany and even has a rather glorious Eurothrash dance version...https://youtu.be/M4JPvaG-MQU

Is it not more like a whore's son?

That's what I thought as well (based on my half decent Leaving Cert German) but they had a German journalist on who said that it would equate to the C-word in English in terms of usage and insult

James Pearce reporting that Harvey Elliott, Sepp Van den Berg and Ki-Jana Hoever all expected to start v Benfica in the UEFA Youth League this afternoon, so that's them off the list for tonight.

Kick off is 3pm and its live on BT Sport if anyone wants to watch that one.

No Harvey. Sounds like a strong team is going to be used.

Be ironic if the poor Watford result now means he thinks he needs to stop the rot and we progress.

I think stopping the rut is the goal, progressing would be a bonus

Honestly don't care about the Fa Cup ,
Prem game on Saturday is a must win for me,
Iv waited 30 odd years to celebrate another league title i'll be on edge till its done and dusted anything else is a bonus ,
Don't even care about the champions league at this stage just get the 4 wins done for me ,

With the league all but sown up and the unbeaten run now gone I'd love to have a proper go at the FA cup. The hard work in the league is done so we can rest before/after cup games with less pressure to get a win.
I'd rather a league and FA Cup OR Champions League double over a record points total. The treble would be nice too.

I know he has played well in the cups this season and probably deserves to play tonight on merit, but I don't really want to see Chirivella start tonight. I want to win the game, and the FA Cup, so I would much rather see Fabinho, Milner or Gini start in midfield instead of him. It is harsh on him I know, but sometimes you just have to be ruthless in football.

I think starting him and Lallana in midfield together puts out a message of how seriously the game is being treated, whereas a midfield of Fabinho/Jones/Milner is more seriously taken.

The hard work is nearly done, we haven't won anything yet,
4 wins out of 10 games needed,
We have to beat Bournemouth or things will start to get nervy and panic could set in, lets not forget the game after that is away to Everton always a tuff game for us,

Not sure if this will work in Ireland but https://www.uefa.tv will be showing the youth match v Benfica, might be of use

    Don't think that's recorded as a loss.

And I've a dozen bookie franchises that would agree with me

First one is a loss. We lost to Man City on penalties.

Chinese Whospers answered whether or not it was 'recorded' as one or not.

2nd one was a senior competition, there were no specifics in his question.

but it was answered for you in the way you want it before you quoted mine so I hope all is good for you.

Does the game have to be decided tonight, extra time penalties if necessary?
