The only worse thing than Geldof talking, is Geldof singing..

Very harsh, but also very true.

I try, really try to love the man. For all the Live Aid craic, and that.

But jesus, he makes it difficult.

Nathan Carter's version of Wagon Wheel is probably the best version all the same. It's just sad that he hasn't been able to capitalize on that cover song by topping it with one of his own songs.

His version of Wagon Wheel is much better than the "Hootie" version

Carter is turning into this generations Daniel O'Donnell, even if you don't listen to his music you know who he is and you feel a real sense of Irishness about him. When I see Daniel O'Donnell i think of my grannies house and the smell of cigarettes and turf.

I never understood why Mizzel was not a star, his voice is amazing.

The interview with Nathan Carter was interesting in that my jaw hit the floor when Tommy told Nathan that he got a sense of depression from him.
Wondering was there something cut out which triggered that comment as it seemed out of the blue to me.

I'm not sure if I'd like someone making that comment to me without me opening the door first.

    Very odd.

Yes it was odd. Don't think it was fair for Tommy to assume that because Nathan had no lady on the go that he wasn't happy or content in his lot.

Nathan said he was drinking late and trying to cut it back

    That's what triggered it

That wasn't one of his better shows

Am I right in thinking that 2 weeks ago Tommy announced the end of the series and said thanks for watching and tonight he closed the show as a normal night?
I'm thinking they switched around the order in which theft shows were intended to be shown.

Don't know the first thing about Nathan Carter but I feel bad for the fella after that interview.

If he wasn't depressed, he is now

His brother will probably be on next week.
