    Disregard most of this! About an hour after i posted this I spotted a clean low mileage (111K) 2005 520 E60 with auto, dakota leather, shadowline trim and spider alloys for sale locally. He swapped the 04 307cc I had so im happy enough. Needs some bits for NCT so not for this thread but.... :p

    Mocking is catching as they say. Ill post a picture on the fixerupper thread tomorrow. So far its just a great old brge to smoke around in. I might even try and claim some benefits! :)

    Slightly overbudget, but might be purchased very close to bangernomics?

    Since this 1.5 diesel Renault in the Laguna and Fleuence has started popping up here I am getting tempted.
    The general consensus appears to be the engine is solid and their reputation is their biggest downfall, would that be a fair summary?
    Its alot of comfortable car for the money in fairness. Cheap tax etc

    That Beemer is on done-deal for a good while, I was tempted when he reduced from 1750 to 1550 then he went 1350, 1150, 899 now :) my insurance stopped me from looking at it

    If the NCT is due around now, what do you do if selling? Get half an NCT done? Get no NCT done until you can get full test?
    Guessing unscrupulous sellers MIGHT use the current situation as some sort of “get out”

    Seems appealing as you say, smart looking car. Definitely one for the brave though, they give fantastic amounts of grief.

    I have no experience of these but I'm guessing they're a huge step up from the old model. Same 1.2 as in the Mk8 Fiesta? Looks like it could be a decent buy for a learner on a bangernomics budget

    its the old Fiat 1.2 in them, along with most of the Fiat 500/Panda underpinnings.

    A bit more room in the back than a 500, but with less style.
