How to improve 4G and network signal?

    Hi,

    How would you improve the 4G signal and mobile network signal in a house out in the country side?

    At the moment, mobile network signal is poor and calls drop off.

    Any recommendations on possible equipment would be great.

    They are expensive but they are legal unlike the cheap illegal ones from China.

    Do you have an internet connection that is not 4G related there?
    What network are your phones on that keep dropping off?

    There is no other internet at the moment, cannot get fibre broadband. Only option is satellite. Current phone providers are Eir and Vodafone.

    I would get a 3G/4G SIM Card router - with an external antenna pointed towards the nearest tower.
    You wont get an improvement of GSM but with WiFi at least you can use whatsapp and similar

    Actually if you can get a 4G signal with anyone and provide wifi in the house you can improve phone reception on both the Eir and Vodafone networks (billpay only) by using WiFi Calling.
