Newbie question 're Tesla and type 2 charger

Work has a type 2 charger with type 2 socket.

I have tesla chademo adapter and regular cable with commando and 13a 3 pin plugs.

What do I need to get to connect the car?

Neatest would be a short yoke to go on end if cable instead if the 3pin or commando end.

Anybody know a slick solution?

No, I got Chademo adaptor and granny lead.

The first one is best, 3 phase and 32amp. You will get the fastest charging speed on the green public charging posts. The other 2 seem to be 7kWh which is low.

I use esb today and got around 32A on the Chademo- this is only really for the work charger, where I can leave it sit for 4 hours.

The first one is a lot more expensive. Will keep looking,

The type of AC charger in your car is also a deciding factor.
Pre 2016 Teslas came with 11kWh chargers as standard with 22kWh dual chargers an optional extra.
Facelifted model S from 2016 have 17kWh chargers.
Charging speeds at 22kWh public slow charging posts will vary depending on your on board charger,
11kWh charger: 47km per hour.
17kWh charger: 73km per hour.
22kWh charger: 100km per hour.
But if you buy a 7kWh cable then you are restricting your charging speed to 30km per hour no matter what on board charger your car was delivered with.

Thanks for that It is for the charger at work only as the Chademo works for me elsewhere.

The Charger at work is single phase 32A , so the 7kW cable will suit me just fine, and the car does not have the optional dual charger.

Have found and irish supplier for the same price as on line so happy days.

Yes- think so- ( no sign of it in the original order confirmation or when I go to the details screen on the car) not really relevant as the charger at work is only single phase 32A and I only need it for that
