    I find the material her re joe pretty funny and good natured for the most part.

    However, if you look at the ray darcy thread there’s serious personal abuse there. Completely unnecessary. I don’t listen to darcy, don’t like the show but the bullying of him is disgusting

    It's feckin' priceless - these people build a following and a career based on being famous on twitter, farcbuke, etc, etc, then get better known if they get a break on mainstream media - or sometimes the other way around, but each is a complement to the other.
    Then they moan about being too easily reachable?
    FFS - maybe they'd like it if they just got ignored and nobody went to their gigs.

    Its the likes of this McDermott gadge too though, "entertainment broadcaster" if that Flack girl did something stupid on the TV a few weeks back, this is the guy who would be the one laughing at it, telling everyone else to laugh at it, now he's on the radio claiming he's a victim of the very sort of pathetic $hit he peddles in himself.     That's what I can't figure about these so called celebs and influencers. They live by social media, peddling their stories and wares. If you go down that road, you have to consider that you're going get some negative stuff. And if you can't hack that, then you've no business being in that game.

    It's to blame the internet. Blame the internet and get it regulated down to two internet channels RTE1.ie and RTE2.ie. Just like the good auld days

    No there isn't personal abuse directed at darcy. What there is criticism of the in mine and many others opinion his un professional job he does presenting his show. He seems incapable or unwillingly to learn how to work the equipment. He is disrespectful of nuact and routinely lets it slip past it's 4pm slot for no good reason. That's my issue with ray darcy and it's not a personal issue because I've never met ray darcy.

    Sometimes OTT alright but I wouldn't overly worry about Ray - he doesn't agree with de smart phones, social media and the like. And he's also as tough as nails, you'd be too if you were on his payscale :)

    I can see this going on until 3pm, as he's lucked into a never-ending stream of misery today, with the Flack incident opening the floodgates of Ardnacrusha for him.
