Please explain to me why didn't just type "Caroline Flack" into Google and click Wikipedia?

It would've taken the same amount of time of typing "Who?" and clicking post on Boards.

But you're an attention-seeking gowl and want the replies on here.

    Jaysus, this is after hours.
    Relax

Read up on who she was. Love Island presenter who battered her partner around the head with a lamp while he slept.......
Her ex said he was 'not surprised' when news of the assault broke - indicating she has a history of this and possibly did similar to him.
Why do I get the feeling that if it were Carolines fella who commited suicide after battering her with a lamp we wouldn't be seeing many 'Lewis Burton RIP' posts?

That’s harsh even for my taste

Fake news RTÉ not reporting it yet.

They run a skeleton staff on the weekend, they would report Donald T's tweets.

    The twitterati claim another life

The irony being that the show she was most associated with is probably the biggest culprit for social media abuse

Evidently you are embarrassed now. The big man act didn't work.

Must be delightful to take the Mick out of suicide.

Can guarantee you I ain't embarrassed.

This is AH, its full of crass, off the cuff and flippant remarks.

I'll leave you all to mourn now. Report me if you want.

Where exactly are the "take the Mick out of suicide" comments??????

Theyve been deleted. By an embarrassed individual

    She was troubled.

Going to cast another suicide related pall over that vile human circus that love island is.

Actually, I'm full on presuming that it was suicide. Haven't a clue

Normally celeb news/deaths doesn't phase me at all but the overwhelming sadness of this really hit home for some reason.

Maybe because of personal issues I'm going through myself at the moment, or maybe because it highlights the impact that falling from grace has for people who want to be loved, or how the media treat celebs not as people but commodities, it's just terribly sad.

Who the hell would want to be in the public eye in this day and age?

    RIP

Not just the media. Also blame the woke crowd who demand people are sacked for every indiscretion.

If you want to say I did to make you sound like some sort of hero, by all means.

Oh right being a decent person means hero in your book.

    So much winning ...

Oh **** off, where’s the #ibelieveher brigade now? If it was a fella you wouldn’t be saying that, admit it at the least

It was allegedly an extremely violent assault involving breaking a lamp over his head as he slept.

Still, shows that the usual social media pile on should wait until after trials are concluded. RIP.

The idiot then tweeted a pic on Valentine’s Day saying “love you”. She had to refrain from contacting him ahead of the trial. Very stupid thing to do.

Your edgy 'who' comment is gone. Just saying.....

... and for second time, I didn't delete it.

EDIT: won't be posting here any more.....annoying some fans too much.

And if you think that gives you license to make an insensitive remark about a woman who just committed suicide then you may want to re-evaluate some things

The gutter press and social media mobs are disgusting imo.

    No consideration or empathy.

I'm not a fan of hers or the programme she was on. Also not a fan of morons that post 'who' on a thread about a death when a link to who they were is contained in the OP.

That's shocking news. I dont watch Love Island but I remember Caroline from The x factor when she co hosted with Olly Murs. She was a talented presenter. Very sad her life has ended like this. May she Rest In Peace.

I only occasionally follow showbiz, but I'm not surprised.

I'd hate to be in any way famous.
You have no personal life in the media spotlight.
Any faults and failings are everyone's news and if you've any troubles, you're even more entertainment.
It's a tough game as without them you are nothing.

    Poor girl and her family.

It’s awful but I can’t see how it’s the media’s fault she wasn’t even in the papers recently

She never stood a chance when they had her reported guilty from the get go.

She wasn't convicted of anything. Not saying it didn't happen, just pointing out it was an alleged assault. She was due back in court next month.

    Mod

I deleted a 'who?' comment and various reactions to it.

Whether a serious question or AH level wit, this is not the place for it. No more discussion of it.
