Walking up to them and saying "Shure'n General O'Duffy was a marvellous man altogether so he was, so he was!", and then performing a quick Fascist salute before turning briskly on the heel and stalking off.

    Criticizing Friedrich Hayek.

    Or Ayn Rand.

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.

From what I have seen since the rise of Trump, most libertarians are closet fascists.

Ayn Rand was an appalling person and terrible writer. Atlas Shrugged is unreadable garbage.

I observed a very sharp decline in the levels of wailing about big government once Trump was elected. Funny that.

Same with those patriot movement dudes in the US - you know those far right, anti federal government crowds that live in very remote regions in the western states, prepping for doomsday. They love Trump "strangely" enough.

It's similar to how the mostly left-wing anti-war movement vanished as soon as Obama took office, even though the wars continued. Many people use so-called "principle" to mask partisan opposition. The anti-war movement was, at its core, an anti-Bush movement.
