    Thanks for enlightening me, other Boards people.

    Kitchenside just coming back to life, had a stress reaction/panic attack thing that had built up for weeks, was quite sick while I was out. No alcohol involved this time. One of those things I can't go back and change so no point thinking about it. Slept like the dead once I got into it in the early hours.

    I think the storm's due today even though people were talking like it was due yesterday? My home internet keeps going off, maybe that's why.

    I didn't vote, for the 1st time since I was entitled to vote. Just don't want any of them and don't want to vote for the party of darkness either.

    Sun came out briefly but it is now raining again.

    Got a call to say that a friend who lived with cancer for ten years passed away iin her sleep. Don’t want to bring the mood down but she was so good to me when I had cancer. I had a good long cry and Mr E has been fabulous.

    Watching the election results but the counts and tallies are hurting my brain.

    A bit of blue sky now so hope.

    Did my walk and it was absolutely beautiful. Blue clear skies, but trees rustling with the wind, birds singing.

    Stopped off at the Church and lit a candle (proper candle, none of those fake lights) We have a little pinboard beside the candles where you can leave little post it notes. One clearly written by a very young child said 'I hope you had a good Christmas in heaven Dad, from Mammy and Shane.' Its great the peace people get from lighting the candles.

    Went down by the river, had a chat with the dog walkers (dogs love this weather), stopped off at shop and picked up one of their lovely fresh rolls.

    Just turned the key in the door as the rain and wind started again.

    Now having my roll with Veggie pudding, fried egg and brown sauce, with scalding hot tea.

    Nicest morning I've spent in ages.
