well, there might be some small possibility of getting a clot-busting infusion that might buy you time. Better than dying in the back of an ambulance in the arsehole of nowhere in the middle of the night

    Air ambulance will have that.

The chances are that you're going to die in the A&E of one of the small regionals anyway. Outcomes have improved since the ones that managed to get closed did close.

Dublin and Cork both have an insane number of A&Es for a city of their sizess too.

Is the tayto man going for taoiseach this year?
    Might be a good bet

This may be the point where the SF bubble starts to deflate slightly - easily Mary Lou's weakest debate to date. By contrast, Martin's strongest performance, and Varadkar doing little here to address the slide.

Giving free GP care results in people taking the ultra piss with visits.

Ciara Kelly on newstalk went on a rant about it one day last week and she made so much sense.

When a GP visit costs 35 quid, when junior has the sniffles he is given a shot of Calpol and sent to bed. When GP visits are free, he's brought to the doctor. And when a working person has an appointment for 11am, he/she has to wait til 1pm to be seen because the waiting room is full of sniffling kids.
