Using the High Court to Validate a claim

    hey guys
    i had a serious claim that i didnt know about that happened 10 years ago
    is it possible to approach the High Court to receive the claim if the solicitor knows what happened and has evidence

    By "the solicitor" do you mean your solicitor?

    If so, and if your solicitor know about this claim, then as far as the courts are concerned you knew about it too, so the claim is likely to be statute-barred.

    You may have an action in negligence against your solicitor for not drawing this claim to your attention,and pointing out the risk that it would become statue-barred if you took no action.
