I’m guessing maybe Clontarf Castle provided venue for minimal overheads cost in turn for de free publicity so to speak, but you’d be more the one to know about such types of arrangement.

I doubt Joe himself would be completely in touch with advertising on his show. He is so very busy concentrating on incoming callers, exchanging notes with the producer during the breaks etc etc that he could hardly be expected to take in the ads being broadcast. He might hear the last just one before the mic turns live.

I never said they were paid ads caller, I was referring to Mr. Duffy advertising his own wares "free pro gratt-tiss" as he duz say himself so to speak believe it or not.

Way off topic, except for de political connection so to speak, but I was passing down leafy Palmerston Road in Upper Rathmines just 10 minutes ago. In one multi-million house is a huge hoarding with Mugshot of Jim O’Callaghan of FF, bro of Joe’s colleague Meeriam, and in the multi-million house right next door is a hoarding of Eoghan Murphy of FG and grandson of Gaybo’s old “pal”, Russell. I’m guessing either Jim or Meeriam live in one house and Eoghan’s parents live in the other. I wonder how the neighbours get on. I’m sure Joe has been at a party or two in one of those houses.

That is highly unlikely...they got paid to display the board, I would say.

Angles, lighting, timing...it is more complex than you think. Photography is an art - it is his inspiration not technical skill, which I am sure is high anyhow.

As for more complex than I think, I guess I better resign from my membership of the Dublin Camera Club then.

And to think of the thousands I've spent on camera equipment over the years (not to mention years honing my craft) to learn anyone with a twitter account and an EYEfone can be a pro instantly. Silly me.

Is there anything Mr. Duffy can't do, or wouldn't be naturally amazing at? Cure cancer? Space exploration? Bring peace to the Middle East?

Shame he didn't keep Britain in the EU, possibly didn't have the time though with the 75mins work 4 days a week.

I don't think any of the members are especially interested in the deaths of childers, suffering, and misery as topics.

If only Mr. Duffy had been born in Germany during the time of Hitler's governance. He could have photographed all of the murdered innocents of all ages, written about de deaths of ze childers so to speak...and den had ze buke printed in Germany too so to speak. He really missed out there. But maybe he can build a time masheen and go back to dat time so to speak? It's likely within his skill set, or at least one might think so listening to you.
