Chilling with a coffee after installing light fitting number two and listening to a killer daily mix. We've only started putting our own stamp on this house recently. There was nothing needed doing really, just Mickey mouse stuff like that, changing little bits to our own taste. Feels good though when you make a little change like that. Spring is a great time to do things.

Beautiful day here. Will bring muttonchops down to the beach for a walk in a while.

Cooking lunch. Think I've got bat flu. Shouldn't joke about it really....

Intermittent squalls but I'd love to hang the washing up outside. Can't wait to have a washing line full of rainbows (dyed items) in the bright sunshine.

Cleaned everything in sight which is a lot of things as I collect old tins and jars and random kitchenalia.

Why did you want makeup again? Chemists usually have a range but it's hit n miss.
I buy it on Lookfantastic lol.

Armchair-side reflecting on last night and wondering if I should drop €150 on a pair of Doc Martens. Have a red pair that I looove but they’re hard to match with clothes, the pair I want now are black, think of all the wear I’d get out of them...:D

Trying to find a time gap in the rugby to shower and change, before going out for a family dinner to celebrate my 76th tomorrow.

The timing couldn't be worse, I'll probably miss the end of the Ireland game.

You might get them cheaper if you order straight from the manufacturer. I dont have the address anymore but I remember emailing about hard to find dm's and they offered me a pair made to order at £30 less than retail shopprice.

If you can, get them as they're alsoreally practical and support your legs.

A very Happy Birthday for tomorrow Anderson Wonderful Pasteboard. Have. Lovely evening with your family. I love reading your posts. They always make me feel that, in spite of the mad goings on, all can be well with the world.

Hanging upside down is a sure sign you have early stage bat flu alright.

    How is your eyesight?

Fixing myself a late lunch at home, then watching the rugby match on the television and then off nude swimming, followed by an AA meeting.

Beautiful day for the 1st of February! :)

Srameen - a very happy birthday to you sir! Hope I’ll still be as active and still posting my inane musings online when I am 76 years of age (in 2051). :D

A bit watery but I was chopping an onion. I'mnot infected! Please don't drag me off to the FEMA camps.

Coz you told me I'd look as good as Wynona. A male version obviously.
Anyway.... doesnt matter I went to the pub with the natural look, the bar-man didn't seem to notice my lack of foundation (charged me the usual price per pint anyway) and liverpool won so it all ended well.
    :pac:

Couchside supping tea after a lovely evening walk - Happy 76th Birthday tomorrow Srameen hope you have a lovely day.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 999 ✭✭✭NewRed2

happy birthday Srameen. Enjoy! Didn't realise your age but your posts are always laced heavily with pearls of wisdom so it adds up. You come across as a gent and one of the best posters on the site so happy birthday and have a few gins!!!

Personally I'm away to lie on the sofa with the fire lit and watch The Stranger on Netflix. Not used to being on my own so much but there's a lovely freedom to it and when life gives you lemons, you can only go for pints and walks and watch a good auld box-set with the fire lit. :)

Hadn't realised srameen was younger than me!
Still watching the rugby...and ready to keel over at this stage.
