    Well they got 44 seats to FGs 49 four years ago. So Irish people have short memories and more water under the bridge since 2016.

    Plus people know FG would have done the same. Global recession after all.

    Micheál talking about how all the focus was on a Climate Bill with the Green Party last time FF were in government.

    No Micheál.

    All the focus was on being on our knees begging for a bailout from the IMF/EU/Denmark/Sweden and the United Kingdom.

    Irish people are funny.
    The country atm is stable in alot of aspects but of course has issues like any country has.
    I though FG have done a good job but it looks like ff will pop them. They seem to have a strong core vote that remains

    Leo reminds me of the FF guy always on the radio. They both seem to thrive when everyone else is riled, and they stay calm. No good unless you have actually anything to backup what you are saying.

    Easy in opposition. The fact is FF and FG are so similar.

    The FG/Lab government 1982-87 had a terrible record on the economy too. So so similar.

    For the record I think the present govt has performed well on many issues.

    Housing and health perpetually haunt us.
