    Black and Tans next.

If leo has any sense, any sense at all, he should hold his hands up (which won't be a bother on him from what I've seen so far) and say we got it wrong, and hope the rest move on.

When it is open no one will be complaining.

No one from Dublin but what about the rest of the country. It should have been build outside city.

Varadkar miles ahead of the rest in terms of his figures and arguments

Yep. He’s the only one putting forward actual solutions with the costs to back them up. I think he has the advantage of knowing the books for the last 9 years though.

Howlin the best for me so far. Barry is passionate but he only talks about anecdotes rather than what we’ll actually do about it.

I've already stopped watching. It was terrible. The 2 hosts were the worst part of it, allowing it to descend into a pub row.

Matt might think he is a serious journo and tv man, but with stuff like this he looks like an amateur. He made Miriam look like Dimbleby

Do people remember that waiting lists where fairly bad in the mid 00s....

One thing that can be said for MM is the NTPF slashed waiting times, and yes this should be done again.

In fairness do you think somebody waiting on surgery cares if they money for the surgery is going to a private hospital ?

In fairness, call it a bribe, but my missus got a call today to say that she is going to be treated in a private clinic under the NTPF. It's only been 3 years since her last appointment in a public hospital.

Too many idealogs, not enough pragmatists.

Eamon Ryan is a terrible, terrible speaker. He's way out of his depth in comparison with the rest.

Even Brendan Howlin has upped his game a fair bit from Claire Byrne's show.

He might be a terrible speaker, but he is saying the right things.

More than a bit shallow to focus on the way people speak.

    Pick a F#CKING year!

    No.

I am from a republican area of northern Ireland most people don't give a toss, n Ireland is better off draining money from the UK (at least for now).

    No

Sinn Feins likely failure of a border poll would stoke problems in the North

Let's have a vote and see. Simples.

Eh, they're all forgetting it's solely a decision for the UK govt when to have a border poll and if I remember right there won't be a vote in Ireland only in NI.

Agree with the rest of your statement.

I'd say Eamon Ryan is the sort of person who gets up in the morning and spends a full hour deciding whether he'll have Corn Flakes or Rice Crispies.
