Sky Q on second TV

    Hi all,

I've done a quick search but haven't come up with any recent results. I currently have Sky Q in the sitting room in my apartment. Is there any way of broadcasting this to the TV in the sitting room also? I am just looking to mirror the image for the odd time we would watch something in bed. Even if the remote doesn't work, it's not an issue.

    Thanks!

It's not possible with Sky Q. The old Sky HD boxes had a feature in built that allowed this. With Q, you will need to get a mini box. Not worth it inmo. You could run Sky Go on a laptop and connect it via HDMI.

    HDMI over co-ax - https://www.freetv.ie/hd-to-rf-modulator/

Converts the HDMI output of the SkyQ box to a DVB-T channel which can be carried over co-ax to your bedroom TV point and tuned in as a regular TV channel, that particular model has a return channel for remote control.

What kind of picture quality would you get?

I don't own one but my brother uses one with a remote SkyQ box, picture quality is comparable with any Saorview SD or HD channel.
