    Hi All

We currently subscribe to sky TV and my contract is finishing in a month. I am looking to cancel it.

I am searching for free options so if somebody can suggest me where I can find information. Ideally, I would be looking for professional installation.

    My needs are
    - local Irish channels ( + UK free to air channels)
    - Option to record / pause / rewind

    regards
    dubman

Thanks a million, Gerry. I have tried looking for information in that thread but it is hard to follow.

I am looking for a professional who can provide me a service to install a solution which allows me to

    - watch all irish channels
    - watch free to air UK channels
    - record / pause / rewind

    any help?

    thanks

If your dish is NOT SkyQ it will work with other satellite boxes. You will need a terrestrial aerial for the Irish channels as they are not free on the UK satellite. The Combo box mentioned on the other thread allow you to watch both Irish terrestrial (Saorview) channels and the UK Free satellite channels on the same device. There are several combo boxes available. You will need a triple tuner to be able to watch and record the channels at the same time. Depending on your location, you may get away with an indoor terrestrial aerial or even put one in your attic. If you are not up to basic DIY you probably would be better getting a professional in.

Thanks, Gerry. I have a normal skybox (sky+ box).

Can you suggest somebody/website who can install this for me?
