Had I been in time to nominate I sense I would have crashed and burned as of the ten I'd pick I'd say only one or two were in the running here!

    Songs I love now
Pearl Jam - Black - My favourite song
Temple of the Dog - Hunger Strike - How could you not like Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell singing together
Guns N Roses - November Rain (was in the running here)
    Slipknot - Wait and Bleed
    Tonic - You Wanted More
    Metallica - Unforgiven
    Semisonic - Closing Time

    Songs I loved then
    Lisa Loeb - Stay
Hanson - MMMBop (was in the running here)
Wet Wet Wet - Love is All Around

^ I know the above is irrelevant but I was just seeing what songs were actually 90s tracks

I really hope we have a 2000s version after this! Some classics that decade

Closing Time would've been a great shout. It was on my shortlist and just missed the cut.

I think we’re going back to the 70s before we do the noughties

Before my time I'm afraid but I'm sure I'll get an education in the songs of the decade!

Edit. OK! Aerosmith are going way longer than I realised!

You’d be surprised at how many bands you do know from the 70s

Yeah I just took a look there now and Aerosmith released some of their best songs in the 70s. I knew Queen were a 70s band so I'd say I'm comfortably find 10 with a bit of research

You'd also have the likes of AC/DC, Queen, ABBA, etc.

Some of the stuff you're in to would make me want to blow my brains out Necro...

Sombre music makes me happy, so Radiohead are great to listen to if I'm in a sh*t mood.

Its a well known fact Necro has brutal taste in music, beyond brutal, brutal is a compliment to his music tastes

One gone, two to go. I missed the vote but I don't think it mattered as The Cranberries got to six votes fairly quickly.

R.E.M. - Losing My Religion ; one of my nominations.

The Cranberries - Zombie ; just prefer it to November Rain

Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence ; this was a tough one. Both songs are great.

The Cranberries - Dreams ; because why not get 3 Cranberries songs through to the top 16.
