In bed finishing off a presentation for college, feeling quite proud of it and torn between excitement to show it off and mind numbing anxiety at the thoughts of presenting it.

Some no-name hub called Eksa ET-28G: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0814B5QN2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (Amazon link for reference, not affiliated in any way)

I mainly got it as an "on the go" hub so I can quickly dump footage and images from my camera or drone onto my MacBook while on the move.

I'm sort of looking for one too. I haven't decided to upgrade to the new Pro just yet. Thanks for the link, have it added to my wishlist now :)

You'll be great. Knock that anxiety's teeth out and show off your work.

Aww not much I went out last night, stayed in a hotel and brought a bottle of vanilla vodka and I was mixing it with peach shnapps think I drank the whole bottle I don’t remember sharing and then drinking whatever I was drinking at the bar too. Friend made a pass at me. I went to bed early though so I didn’t do anything bad, talked to him til I fell asleep but I was still drunk til this afternoon I’m only in hangover mode now I’m shook and you know after a night like that you think everyone is out to get you

I had something like the fear on Saturday I think. I was disgusted with people and everything felt grim and filthy and sordid. Hotels are freaky places though, in my opinion. Those corridors.

Just a bit of friendly advice to those posters who get “the fear” a lot after heavy boozing sessions: maybe think of cutting down on the drink for a while.

Your health - especially mental health and well-being - will improve no end.:)

    Night peeps!

Bed as well, was watching Netflix but decided to stop in the hopes that I’ll manage to get myself to sleep at a more reasonable hour than I have been.

My own sense of the fear on Saturday was “what did I say, what did I do to make a fool of myself this time?” etc mixed with that sense of insecurity I get (not sure if others get this too) when you start to really like someone. Not a pleasant experience :pac:

Morning all, in a taxi heading to work, great thing about this time of day is they the streets are empty.

Immediately went on the Mutts “talk to the paw” list. 36 hours at home in 19 days really isn’t enough.

Trying to feel enthusiastic as I await a job interview Skype call and die from the flu at the same time. She's late calling me and I just want to lie down again.
