Hey folks maybe someone with aviation expertise can explain this strange flight path out of Malaga on the 11th...a colleague happened to be on the flight and it circled twice which you can see if you zoom the map

    https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/fr7055

I could understand it on approach but just after take off? Did the pilot forget something :D

    Cheers

Impossible to know but as both holds were conducted at Flight Level 100 (10,000 ft.) a need to troubleshoot a possible technical issue seems like a distinct possibility.

Pilots were running the check lists for a gear notification, all was fine and it continued to Dublin

On flightrader and there is an unusual flight pattern over Blessington lakes. The call sign is REV4ND and it seems to be circling the lakes. It has been in the air over 2.5 hours. It is a Cessna 404 Titan and the flight originated near Nottingham. Seemingly a private company reconnaissance ventures is operating the flight.

    Looks like a survey pattern.
