    Yeah after you guessed it i thought yeah that makes sense. I find it hard to pivot from one word meaning to another sometimes, so i get why you guessed grass.

    Thread was for hole and needle. Cotton was there, but i figured i could take the hit.

    Letter was mail, spell and sound (each letter has a sound).

    Im just after seeing i could have clued music for jam, sound, opera and needle (like a record needle). Would you have gotten that you think?
