Back in the leaba for a few minutes, troops despatched to the poor teachers. Not boasting here but one of mine does art in secondary school, he got out his sketch pad about 10pm and I was about to rant about homework but it was just something I had to sign,it was a full paragraph from his teacher saying that his sketch was excellent and she was hugely impressed, it started off with "Wow Duvets Son this is excellent "...I am so proud of him,he's the most unassuming, gentle one in this house and not one bit of trouble since he was born, I'd say hes thrilled and that teacher is lovely to take the time to write all that imo.

Isn't that just lovely that the teacher took the time to do that, and to give him such encouragement. He sounds like a great guy too.

Rain has stopped play outdoors, so time for coffee and a good book until it improves or an alternate plan unfolds.

I am at work and starting to get the hang of this 2020 carry on. Have been ‘catching up on my correspondence’ in old school terms. Ie Texting.

Deskside - having more coffee?! Why do I do this to myself? I need a little time lockable safe that keeps me away from coffee after a certain amount :)

I think I might be a bit hyped on coffee too. Or maybe I'm just having an extra good day :)

Going for a walk to see new sights and to meet some old friends in their local pub. Kind of tired of everything happening in pubs, but still....

Is it just me though or or is nicer for a change on warm summer evenings than on chill winters evenings....I'd be happy enough with tea at home :D

I do love an old fashioned type pub with an open fire on a winters evening. Dull lights and loads of atmosphere- not a shiney new modern type pub.
    Feeling thirsty now.

I hope you're ok Grem and not in too much pain!

I do love a pub on a cold winter's night. What I don't like are all of those humans in there, home drinking it is :D

I'm a bit unreasonable today. Well more than usual :p I got into an argument with the boyfriend and then I apologised and said I had my period, he says he knows I do :pac:

Ugh not the modern hipster bars. There's plenty of olde worlde pubs around here and once I settle in I'll enjoy it. Part of it is the popular widely available drinks are so insipid. I likes a glass of scrumpy, preferably organic. Or fiery - sweet ginger beer.
