    1- men without hats,
    footloose is good, but this is more 80s to me.

    2- has to be Madonna, this was one of the first albums I owned!

    3- Pet shop boys, I remember watching them on totp & being hooked immediately

    Match 7 - The Cure - Just Like Heaven. The Cure just can't lose to Cher. Can they?

    Match 8 - Talking Heads - Once in a Lifetime. Did I mention how great Talking Heads are? I restrained myself and nominated just one of their songs, and this is it, so I have to vote for it, even if it's up against the mighty Madness.
