    I have a usb drive 4gig.
it stopped working 2 days ago ,when i put it into my pc it says installing driver for 2 minutes ,
it does not show up in my computer.
i tried it in 2 pcs.
If i go to control panel ,system, disk storage management ,it says drive E : no media /
the only thing i can think of is, i use a live cd.
linux to see if i can format it or erase the data on it.

    i copied 15 mp3,s on it 3 days ago.
I,m just curious ,why would it stop working .
My usb sd card reader works fine in the same pc

Yeah, try a LiveCD of Linux ...... and see what it shows in a terminal for
    dmesg
command after plugging in the USB drive.

Scan your pc for viruses and/or malware.
