Fun Bass Songs to Learn

Hello Bassists!

In 2020 I want to learn one new song a month. Just something to keep me focused. I am looking for suggestions of songs that you enjoy playing that aren't on the standard "must learn" lists and blogs.

I am an intermediate player but I don't slap! I normally play rock stuff but I am open to all genres as long as it is fun to play.

Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Been getting back into playing after a long while off, here's a few I've been banging away at to warm up or keep in practice.

a bit of entwistle is always good for giving the fingers a workout

sorry, did post some links to the real me by the who, tab and song but I havent made enough posts to link to them

its actually a lot easier than youd imagine, mostly c minor pentatonic shapes

great fun to play and a great showoff song

if youre mainly a rock player perhaps learn some walking bass lines.

Fly me to the moon is a classic one that has all the 7th arpeggio shapes and has a chord progression that should seem familiar from quite a few rock songs

Pretty much all the Stuart zender stuff is fun to jam along with. He had a solo album, never officially released but it's on YouTube. Some cracking grooves on it.

I enjoy playing Jaco, not sure if it's you're thing but great stuff to work on technique with.
