    Gladiator true classic.

I've seen The Matrix easily over fifty times. Maybe more, I lost count. Knew it line by line, shot by shot.

    Fargo, probably about thirty times.

    Die Hard, double figures.

    Aliens, double figures.

Raiders of The Lost Ark, double figures.

    Wayne's World, double figures.

    2001, double figures.

Airplane and Airplane 2, double figures.

The glory days of the VHS.

Titanic I'd say, would watch it every Saturday morning as a child. I usually skipped all the romantic bits and started watching from when the iceberg struck :o

I seem to have watched the The Shining at least twice a year since I was 14 (which wasn't yesterday) because Jack Nicholson is feckin' deadly in it like.

Goodfellas because it's a great film and for the Billy Batts scene obviously.

Loads of other films too but these two stand out.

Either Predator or Young Guns, followed by Willow. Ahhh you can't beat being a child of the early 80s.

American Beauty. It's 20 years since its release and although parts of it have been heavily parodied and it has fallen out of favour in recent years, it's still one of my go-to movies if I want to relax and unwind.

    Forrest Gump.

Can watch it as a comedy, something to make you feel good , a light fingered historical narrative, focusing on the soundtrack, supporting the underdog. Several different ways or frames of mind in which it suits.

I agree; it's a masterpiece. It's one of the movies I've watched a lot and if it's on during Christmas, I'll watch it again. It ticks all the right boxes.

For me, I don't know how many times I've watched the Southpark Movie, Bigger, Longer, Uncut. Great story, great songs and very self aware. I still watch Southpark and loved Book of Mormon and hope that Trey and Matt keep coming up with good stuff.
