Hello, any recommendations for one? What are the cheapest ones to run these days? Thinking maybe 3/4 hours per day for a small home office. Done a quick search and someone mentioned Oil filled electric rad is what you want...how about this one?

The oil filled are most efficient when left on all of the time; will take atleast an hour to heat up but they are almost silent in operation compared to a blow heater,
When up to operating temperature they are more efficient than a blow heater as there only maintaining there internal temperature.

If fitting in an office; you may also consider a wifi socket to enable switching on before you get there

Heaters are pretty much 100% efficient - so the more heat you get, the more electricity you use. It’s as simple as that.

Oil filled heaters are nicer than conventional convector heaters in that they don’t smell, and don’t dry the air out. They’re not magic though, you’ll still use plenty electricity.
