Samaung Galaxy 7 edge unlock

    So i recently joined the GOMO network and transferred my number to the new SIM.
    Problem is my phone (Samsung 7 edge is locked to the three network.
    Has anyone any experience with unlocking phones?
    Looked online but all i got was a lot of shady links.

    Would not mind but i actually bought the phone when i setup the contract with three bit pissed that they are allowed lock a device that i bought.....

    Go on eBay I've had loads unlocked, only costs around €20

    All networks lock the phones to their networks

    Lots of places on ebay to get codes handy enough or there should be a local repair/unlock shop not to far away

    I unlocked my wife's samsung from VF only last month.
    The process with them was she had to be out of contract and I had to wait 20 working days,month in total, for a 'phone which she too had purchased outright.
    Saying that, once I got the code the whole unlocking and porting to GOMO went seamless.

    I have the code for a full factory reset but i was just wondering if here was another way.

    Im at least a year out of contract so thats not the issue.
    Thought there might be an option in the service menu or some way of generation an unlock code.

    Just ask 3 to give you the unlock code?
