    People have bashed this trans person.

    And deservedly so, but the deliberate misgendering is disrespectful to trans people in general.

    nope. and i don't care.

    the hate in this thread has been generalised on transgender people and any possible need for a Gynaecologists - not simply or just this specific person.

    Forget the possible need for a Gynaecologists - the hateful mob have decided they aren't needed and are just a publicity stunt.
    Forget that they were refered to a Gynaecologist - the hateful mob have decided they aren't needed and its just a publicity stunt.

    I have a lot of time and respect for the trans community but I think she's taking the piss. Maybe she has a legitimate complaint this time but I don't care anymore. There has been too much utter crap from her it's impossible to take her seriously any more. Even trans people I know think she's a waste of space doing the community more harm than good.

    I don’t believe Yaniv to be a genuine trans person. I believe he is a man using trans status to either troll or force women to touch his genitals.

    Oh boy. Here we go again.

    This yaniv is a moron.

    I don't understand Yaniv, what does she actually want the gynecologist to do here ?
    What the f*ck can they do since biologically she still has male genitals ?

    This is just her bullying people into touching her genitals - I bet you any amount of money too that's the gynecologist is a woman ...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,166 ✭✭✭Still waters

    I think the proper term for a man like him is pedophile, his past history is proof of strong sexual perversion to children, he uses trans sexuality as a useful trojan horse to get near them

    Not women, young girls.

    I am very outspoken against the normalisation of trans issues but even I feel that this prick (the person referenced in the op, not the op) is doing trans people a disservice

    She.

    Nope ... HE!!!

    HE has found this niche to try and get close to young girls, he already has been found out trying to contact 12 year old girls to help them with their tampons.

    He is a sick freak.

    The deliberate references here to yaniv as a woman is disrespectful to women .

    I don't feel qualified to decide who is and isn't a genuine trans person. Yaniv might not deserve any respect, but there are probably better ways (i.e. more respectful towards trans people in general) of addressing that than pointedly referring to her as 'he' (or, as we've seen on this thread, contradicting people who refer to her as 'she').

    As much as I agree, I think it's worth watching to see how far society has come to see you guys (apologies if that isn't the right term) get admonished for misgendering.

    ****ing madness

    I feel that referring to a man as she/her just because he demands to be referred to as such is disrespectful to my 54 years lived experience as a woman. So where does my entitlement to respect rank against his?

    Hang on.

    There is nothing disrespectful about calling a man a man.

    If a man wants to be a woman, more power to him.

    If he wants me to call him a woman, I might do that.

    If he EXPECTS me to call him a woman, I won't.

    Respect works both ways

    I'll just leave this here so the noobie wokies know who's been singled out and why. It's not a reflection on boards members of any twist.

    Me, me, me...

    Leaving Yaniv aside for a moment, do you think trans people in general deserve respect? Or is respect something that you only like to be on the receiving end of?

    Alternatively:

    * Yaniv
    * They
    * That arsehole

    would gynaecologists not have anything to offer post op mtf transexuals? (I don't know enough about the functioning of a 'neo-vagina' to answer that one...)

    Quite possibly, though I'd imagine that would be specialised within gynaecology. Yaniv, however, does not have any body parts that require the attentions of a gynaecologist of any sort.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,567 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

    What was gynaecologist suppose to do? Stick a finger up his ass, maybe that's what he wanted.

    They're a f*cking troll who are doing the trans community a disservice with all this bullsh*t. Imo, maybe trans people may see it differently.

    They’re a dude, dude.

    Am I allowed to opt for * It?

    If not, then option 3 above.

    There needs to be a clear distinction between the gender a person identifies as and is legally allowed to have recognised and their biological sex.

    The two are quite distinct.
    I think there should be two designations. One legal and one biological.
