Skype for internet calls

    I read that there is a new FREE app for making FREE internet calls (computer to computer) .. called skype ...anyone used it? ... whats the call quality like?

    phooaarrr ... me one looks a bit of alright ... but does that headset look like someone put it there (badly) with Paint Shop Pro or something ...

    Getting Started:

    Download PC-Telephone FREE
    Get a PC-Telephone calling card
    ... and start calling worldwide!

    I take it the Pc-telephone calling card would not be free....

    no the calling card is NOT free;)
    if you check back with their site, you sill see that you can buy call credit.

    It isnt really very good, have a look at FWD, http://www.freeworlddialup.com/ it's an amazing service, it will also let you call us and uk 800 numbers for free.

    But theres no access to the regular phone network (or cellular) paid or otherwise:(

    Actually you can use i connect here with the service, and also you can get a UK or Washington DC number that will ring you on your fwd number also.
