New extra 2 weeks paternity leave

Hi, My child was born on Aug 2019, am i eligible for the new extra Paternity paid leave of 2 weeks implemented this 1st Nov 2019 ? I tried ringing different places and each place is giving different answers. Can anyone who has applied let me know. regards

No, unfortunately not. It is for children born from November 1st onwards.

You’re probably confusing the people you’re asking by calling it paternity leave. It’s parents leave.
