    It's Moyes level delusion

Comical for everyone else in the league I'd imagine!

Now that is a ridiculous statement.

How is the actual technology to blame rather than the way its been implemented, whats being asked of it or the capabilities of those using it?

VAR is the whole package. VAR is now crap. If they change the rules to do it visually for offsides and stop being so ridiculous on things which are ultimately subjective given they can't be sure of the exact frame and pitch lines, then VAR will be better.

When people complain about VAR they are obviously talking about the implementation of it. If there was a near instant way to always get the correct decision then there would be very few against it. No one is blaming the technology rather than those judging it, therefore your initial statement is daft.

Probably harsh on Hodgson at this stage. Hodge won the Danish premier-league league, and was a UEFA cup runner-up. Ole isn't at that level yet. Both out of their depth for sure.

I'd like to agree with you, I'm sure some are complaining about the whole package just as I'm sure others are blaming the tech.

We've seen the likes of Linekar and Carra and many others saying get rid of it cos it's ruining the game, it isn't, it's implementation and the rules it has to work with that are causing the problems.

God Damm Sheff Utd are amazing.

Theyre not 6th for nothing :)

Wolves are pretty amazing too as they've been playing endless games in the Europa League.

Just realised there's a game tomorrow, and here's the thing if Newcastle United win they'll be on 18 points along with Man Utd, Arsenal, Sheffield Utd and Burnley. Villa can move to 14th. You really can throw a beach blanket over half the table, must be the tightest at this stage (third of season gone) for years.

I wouldn't be too critical of Man Utd after today's draw. It's another valuable point and keeps them seven points above the relegation zone.
If they continue to pick up points at this rate they'll reach the magical 40 point mark with seven games to spare at the end of the season.

Think Man Utd will be on 17, so Newcastle could be ahead of them.

People were saying Wolves should ditch the Europa league earlier in season. Think that talk could be very premature

Good to see utd with a bit of fight in their belly today. 2-0 down could have been a lot worse, great comeback to get 3-2 up. Unlucky with last min goal

Allegri is a pipe dream for them. Arteta would be another disaster given his lack of managerial experience. Still think that Rafa is the best man for that job. He'll steady the ship on the field and he has the experience to deal with whatever is going on off the field.

Dont see anything wrong with Arteta , he has a good few seasons at City now , former player could be good .

He hasn't any actual managerial experience. Arsenal could be jumping from the frying pan into the fire with an appointment like that.

Far from convinced that working as second in command at a club which has been incredibly successfully and stable, is good preparation for the top job at Arsenal, a club which is a circus on and off the field.

Poch second favourite with some of the bookies. Surely they wouldn't go there:eek:

Arsenal need a really strong character to go into the dressing room, there doesn't seem to be any sort of a leader on or off the field. Very weak mentally. To me, Arteta seems like another who will be too nice. I don't see him disagreeing with Pep much on the sidelines, which suggests he could be a 'yes man' happy to agree with others and follow their lead.

Nah you need a strong experienced coach to come in and sort that mess. Benitez can have his pick of West Ham, Arsenal or Everton. I find it crazy that a coach with his CV isn't in a top PL job. He did a brilliant short notice job at Chelsea, stabilized Newcastle as best he could, not to mention he's won La Liga x 2, Uefa Cup x 2, CL, FA Cup. Rolled up his sleeves, managed in the championship, dedicated to the job and commands the respect of his players.

Would the fan base accept him? Obviously if he's successful they will but it would be a rocky road. Desperate times desperate measures? It's probably too soon from his time at Spurs.

Of course they would accept him. From what I can remember, there is no reason why they shouldn't? Poch didn't make bad comments about Arsenal, the fans etc. Sol Campbell made the switch directly, Poch would be a bit indirect.

Also, Arsenal getting Poch would mean that Man United will not. Possibly even Man City in a year or two.

    George Graham all over again.
    (just the other way obviously)
That didn't go too well, and he had at least been through a decontamination period at Leeds first!

Don't think it is the right job for him. Think he needs to look to move up a level when it comes to the club stature. Man United fits the bill and the job should be available within the next month or so.

Watch AFTV last night and Arsenal fans will have no problem with him, I believe. He has no history with them as Spurs manager. Spurs fans will turn on him for choosing to join Arsenal though, I'd imagine.

Sky: Everton consider replacing Silva before the Leicester game with Moyes and Howe in the frame.

If Howe goes there, we'll see a certain couple of posters very disappointed as their dreams of him going to United will be dashed.

Still has 2 years left on a massive contract with Dalian Yifang. Would they really look to buy him out of that?

Erik Ten Hag is the manager a team like that should want. Not sure he'd see that as much of a step up though. I wouldn't give it to Allegri. Eddie Howe another good option.

But we all know they'll end up giving it to Arteta with a Henry or Vieira-type as assistant

Rinse and repeat, for Everton, if that is the case. Moyes did a great before but he is not the right man for this job. Howe is not going to take them where they want to go. They'll finish 7-10 under him.

Allegri would be the best choice for Arsenal.

Brillant job at Juventus. They struggled in Europe before he arrived there. Would help sort out Arsenal's defensive issues.

Why does everyone put down Eddie Howe?

Brillant job at Bournemouth would be a good apointment for Everton.

There a small club they cant attract a big name.
