    #7 - Safety Dance. I unashamedly love this song, and while some may think of it as just a novelty song I regard it as a genuine top quality tune. Take My Breath Away is, imho, the worst song to have made it this far and I would have happily voted for any of the songs knocked out earlier ahead of it.

    #8 - Save Tonight. I like I Touch Myself, just not as much as I like Save Tonight.

    Safety Dance because it has to be one of those silly but totally melancholic tracks and it's better than the sum of its parts.
    Also I'm gonna go with Save Tonight because I really dislike the other one and I don't know how it got this far.

    I loved this song when it came out, was on the Now 1 compilation album which i got that Christmas, played it to death!

    You know, that's a very solid set of quarter finalists there. Of course I prefer some to others but there's no song in that eight that I would be annoyed to see win it, or that I would consider undeserving.

    So despite some of the travesties that occurred in earlier rounds, I think it's fair to say good job everyone. :)

    And many thanks again to Kolido (all five of them! :pac: ) for the patience and dedication.

    I didn't realise it was the quarter finals but then I came to this very late...it makes me wonder what was in the initial line-up, for these to be the top 8! No offence to the artists or nominationers (is that a word) Thanks to Kolido these are hard polls to organise. I remember some top 100 poll could have been Radio Nova or Q back in the day (early 80's) that voted Baker Street the greatest hit of the decade (1970's) It's great to see it still hasn't lost its charm.

    Is there such a thing as a One Hit Wonder in today's chart parlance? (I'm thinking the likes of Happy - Pharrell Williams and other annoying earworms :D)

    Nice job all. I'm rooting for Safety Dance now because I think of the last 8 it fits the moniker best.
