DA and SUSI maintenance

    Can you apply and receive a SUSI grant while on DA and keep both once it falls under the €120 allowed earnings a week? Also how is that calculated for grants? I know you receive the grant monthly so do they divide it by 4 to get weekly earnings or class it all as 1 week? Or do they take the total grant amount and divide it by weeks in the year or payment period?

    Trying to help someone else make sense of this and it’s confusing me to no end! TIA

    Your SUSI grant won’t affect your DA at all.
    You will get the SUSI grant (if eligible) and continue to get whatever DA payment you are getting now.
