Anywhere in the world that's 55.8642° N (Glasgow) and above, super SAD once the clocks go back.

Am sure if you airdrop them in free daily Vit.D supplies and free upgrades of all their internal/external lights with new full-spectrum COB-LED light arrays,
they'd be doing the samba in now time, or chillaxing like Jamicans on sunny beach.

There once was a village in Norway that never had winter sunshine (deep valley)
So they stuck a giant reflection on the nearby mountain and sent down the beams of light down as they jumped for joy.

I have to say nordies are some of the most miserable bastards on the planet - Belfast in particular. Very easily annoyed. I think the further you get from Belfast the more pleasant the locals are

People often go on how the Irish are great craic and other nations are dryshytes but what if roaring Father Ted quotes while scuttered isn't great bants and they have their own humour in their own language?

That’s all drunk people talk about in Ireland?

Until you reach Portadown, a veritable hive of misery.

Yup. Rotten on the inside the lot of them.

First time I went to Hungary I wondered if I was inadvertently irking them somehow, but then I found my experience was shared by many other visitors.

    Absolutely miserable shower altogether.

A lot of the loopers who post regularly in Current Affairs have to be up there.

I've never met such an obnoxious and ignorant people in all my life, I can see why they're not liked in places they travel

Are they f*ck??? Am spending time here and have never come across such ignorance. Have seen quite a bit of the country so far so I beg to differ.

I know a few. Ignorant fcuks. Apparently worse in their own "land"

Ruth Coppinger gets my vote, misery personified.

I was in Hungary 20 years ago and they were pretty grim, in fact I told the receptionist in my hotel who had a face like a slapped a*se every morning that I'd pay for smiling lessons for her as I was leaving
I was back there earlier this year and was expecting to star in Misery II but they seemed to have lightened somewhat, though I wouldn't go quite as far as saying they were channelling their inner Pollyannas.

Surprised to see so much dislike of Hungarians. Any of them I met while there were lovely.

Agreed. One of my best friends in work is Hungarian. Very good sense of humour also.

I'd find Italians much more miserable, only because they are so wonderful

I know a few too. Very intelligent and educated. Very spontaneous.

But they are VERY plain speaking and VERY ...brusque. Short and blunt.

Irish people are a little verbose and polite in comparison. So yes they would be even more brusque at home in Israel.

    Its not ignorance its difference.

Also i find you can go and talk to Israelis even on the street ..they will be blunt ..but irish people look as if you are weird. You can talk about anything!

I had some work dealings with them, fûck me, ignorance wouldn’t even start to cover it. An eye opener. My experiences have been of terribly aggressive, rude, chastising and downright unpleasant and unprofessional people.. exceptions of course but they are remarkably consistent in all of the above.

Most 'Israelis' I've met are Australian or American.

I remember running into packs of them in Thailand years ago and they were all of the above, fresh from military service, 2 of them were killed on the island I was on after hitting a local Thai fella.. Bad idea.. Very bad idea
