Next step?

I ordered blinds for my home way back in July. I have a written promise that they would be supplied and fitted in 4 weeks. Here I am almost 15 weeks later with no blinds and many broken promises of delivery since. I've list faith in the supplier now. I know I'm entitled to my deposit back but what's my next step before I take it to the small claims court, I want to follow correct procedure. There is no claims procedure outlined by the company.

Start by contacting them for a refund before you thinking about SCC.

Simple question: How did you pay the deposit?

I paid by bank transfer and received confirmation of this from the company.

In that case, contact the company, demand your refund, contract has been broken. If that does not happen, then small claims court.
