For me it would have to be Eminem, lyrical genius and unbelievable songs.

Eminem? Bloody good, but the greatest of all time? Eh... Mozart and Beethoven might just blow him outa the water musically.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

    They're two people, Wibbs.

    Probably Bach,Beethoven,Mozart,Wagner people like that.

Anytime there's a discussion involving music I always say I only listen to the likes of the above mentioned, cuts them down to size fairly quickly, I'll never be looked down on by any supposed music snobs again.

Shame about the old full-blown AIDS there.

    I'll raise you Hans Zimmer.

    In classical, Johann Sebastian Bach.
In popular music, would have to go for an obvious one, Keef Richards.

Is this about musical ability or sexual morals.
    GAFY.

    Right Said Fred.

There's a hidden commentary in "I'm too sexy" that tells us so much about the ever-changing dynamics of modern social paradigms, that, when you do uncover it, results in nothing less than an epiphany of philosophical, theological and scientific awakening of such significance that it humbles the sum total of human endeavour since the dark ages.

I can't overstate the genius contributions of this species-defining behemoth. Hands down, close the Internet for a week to think it over.

Obviously a subjective choice, but Ronan Keating is a colossus. Right down to his impersonation of a walrus during mating season.

    Bernard Herrmann

    Prince

Wrote the songs, could play all the instruments and could dance. As an all round talent he takes beating.

I only listen to the spirit-shaking sounds of nature.

Your pathetic earthling attempts at mimicking the soul of the universe is so weak it almost makes me smile. Therefore I am left with no other choice than to look down upon you in distasteful bemusement, like narrowly avoiding the stepping upon of dog shoite.

Harsh! It really was a shame - if he was diagnosed now he'd probably live to old age.

That just makes you sound pretentious and narrow minded.

dave grohl to be high up the list of modern day musicians

    Trent Reznor.

His musical talent goes beyond writing, playing, and singing. He does a fair bit of production as well.

While his genre may not be for everyone, his musical scores for films have been absolutely brilliant.

Sadly due to the nature and theme of Nine Inch Nails, his work gets over looked by a lot of people.

Again the question, what has that to do with musical ability?
