Today I was onto VM about wanting to change to Siro with VF. His advice was not to, as it would be affected by weather, namely wind and rain.
I'm just wondering if someone a little more tech savvy than myself would be able to enlighten me with regards to this claim...
    Thanks in advance

Nonsense. You are the second person in a couple of days that they have lied to. Absolutely shocking carry on.

Utter tripe, he's either mistaken or deliberately lying.

You are a khaki coloured bombardier, it's Hiroshima that you're nearing.

I'd expect Virgin's coaxial cables and various junction boxes would be more susceptible to rain ingress than a fibre optic cable!
