We've all seen numerous news stories where a suspect appears in the media exclusively in the form of a poorly composed facebook profile photo.

Some advice lest some day one of us ends up in similar shoes:

Things to avoid

Jewellery (particularly true if male)

Peaked caps, or anything which suggests a fondness for chav culture

Holding alcohol or appearing to be drunk

Any other do's and don'ts?

They also get used if you die in a.newsworthy manner. I've been considering writing a will that instructs my executors to site need outlets for unauthorised use of my image. Would they be likely to succeed, I wonder.
