It may not be well known to the masses but Troublegum by Therapy is just back to back excellence in my opinion.

Considering all the albums I adore I always feel like there's at least track or two that don't quite make the grade.

The closest I can think of is

    Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
    Evanescence - Fallen
    Alice in Chains - Dirt
    Lacuna Coil - Unleashed Memories
    Paramore - First 2 albums

There are many albums that are generally seen as classics like Korn 98 and 99 and Slipknots first two but in my opinion there are many average songs on those albums, Korn and Slipknot are good but their best material is spread out over many albums.

Then there is SOAD, the best album of theirs for me is the 2002 one yet the 2001 album is viewed as a classic.

agree on a lot of your points.

I am a huge new model army fan and only one album made the list out of dozens due to almost every great album has one track you tend to skip past.

Take Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park I just listened to last night, great album but again that one track you skip.

That is why an album with all the song are classic to a person is rare,

I suppose it was just the instrumental you skipped? I don't think that really counts.

OK Computer is nigglingly close, some great tracks, really love that album, but "climbing up the walls" and to a lesser extent "the tourist" let it down for me.

"let down" paradoxically is a highlight for me!

I don't mind those tracks, Electioneering is the clunker on the album IMO.

    ^ this

OK Computer is my favourite album of all time but I would think Electioneering is a long way from being considered a 'classic track'.

It would definitely be an unpopular view but there isn't a bad song in Avril Lavigne's first 2 albums, they were pop-rock, I wouldn't admit it to anyone in person though.

Sabotage by Black Sabbath, is there a metal band out there that hasn't used the Symptom of the Universe riff.

So very much subject to taste. I'm kinda illiterate too when it comes to classic hard rock and metal. So I wont claim them to be truly the greatest just my personal favourites, in no particular order. And I do think every single song on them is great.

    Soundgarden - Superunknown
    Dio - Holy Diver
The Cult - The Cult, Ceremony
    Pearl Jam - Ten
