I would say even under Hodgson we were never that bad and we were bad under Hodgson.

How much has it cost so far in payouts to sacked managers since Fergie ? Moyes, Louis, Jose and soon Ole who was just recently given a long term contract. Then add the mad salaries to various “key” players. Ignore purchase price as that’s the market.

Lampard seems to have extracted a great team out of the youths available to him. By necessity really but it seems to be working. Where are Utd’s youths ? I don’t think another manager can fix them until they fix what’s wrong behind the scenes. Looks so much like Liverpool situation with Gillet and Hicks doing their level best to bleed Liverpool dry.

I know plenty of Utd fans to have some pity on them. It’s not going to end well.

When we stuff them they'll most likely be put into the relegation zone. Delicious.

I have to say I liked the look of Maximin with his running at defenders one to keep and eye on.

There’s no doubt about it, football as a sport has peaked in 2019. :)

United at OT is always difficult. We’ve won twice there I think in the last 10/11 years.

They always raise their game for us. And so do their fans. We went there in good form the last 2 seasons and didn’t come away with a win. I expect a very tricky game, whether Ole’s at the wheel or not.

Ole is no one to any of these United players, football doesn't work that way. They don't know who he is.
A bit like Klopp playing a scene from Rocky, and thinking it was going to inspire everyone, but no one knew who the fck Rocky was, and no one in United squad have a clue who Ole is. Some guy who could not make the first team back before they were born, who became a super sub, how is that going to inspire anyone except Alex sitting in the stands.

    Laurent Blanc
    Carlo Ancelotti
    Roberto Mancini
    Diego Simeone
    Claudio Ranieri

SO many they could appoint who have a world of experience, but they appoint Ole. The people running the club are too blame along with Alex, who seems to be the one picking the managers.

It's all their own doing. But in saying that Klopp took 3 years and many windows to built a team. United what it NOW!
Give someone time, sacking Ole now would be wrong

    Ole

'' lucky for us it's an International Break''

    wtf

Should be looking to play tomorrow, to put it right.

Crazy comments. Losing before an International Break is the worse thing in football, not '' lucky''

I was getting sent memes from utd fans about us winning the league in October. Are there any memes about getting relegated in October?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,212 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Bruce would have been a better choice, at least he has 400 Premier games as a manager behind him, and knows United. Bruce is a good guy too, but never had a dime to spend.

I think they’re laughing because it took us longer than them. They won it in September two seasons ago.

Its like people who say goalie. I just cant be doing with that . It's "Utd" . :) (and "keeper" in case you're wondering)

    TAA is a right full.

I'm sure Harry will be along to talk of long trousers, Salah being an outside right and how the change to a solid crossbar was the beginning of the end for the game :D:D

We're now only one point behind the combined points tally of both Manc clubs.

Imagine if you had called them The Man U!

    Eviler than Hitler.

All seasons in the top flight

EDIT, just noticing a useless stat. The Southampton goal in the 3-1 game near the end of last season was the 5000th top flight goal Liverpool conceded.

Double edit, maths were off :)

I would say even under Hodgson we were never that bad and we were bad under Hodgson.

You might have blocked it out but we were every bit as bad, Northampton were formidable opponents and the famous Bolton win. Jaysus I just remembered the Torres sh1t also.
