Spotted this on twitter earlier and I'll be in Dublin on Thursday and could pop around to it but its a bit out of the way, has anyone here ever gone to 1 these sales before and if it's worth going out of your way for? I'd be looking to pick up some bits for my kids and maybe myself

I've been in the store. You'd pick up decent stuff cheap alright, worth it if not too far out of your way

I'm just back from it. Plenty of clothes on offer.

Most of the things I was interested in (zippy tops, jackets) were about €30-35. There are backpacks for €10. Socks and shorts. Loads of generic club/county colours gear too.

I called in today, some amount of gear there with some good deals to be hand but it was like TK Max multipled by 100 only with GAA gear

How long is that shop open? Usually head down to factory shop on Long Mile Road every 2/3 months.

Only open til Sunday. They have rails of stuff separated by county. The they have generic (i.e. no crests) adult/kids t-shirts for a fiver, rain jackets, hoodies, fleece jackets, training tops etc. for €15 - €25. Obviously, you won't have everything in all sizes but definitely worth a visit, especially for kids stuff.

Would they be a bus that goes near it from the city centre?

Dub fans will pick up a lot of stuff at a great price, loads of bags, shorts, gloves and stuff like that as well, just rows and rows of clothes, great staff though. The factory shop is a lot more organised but there is a lot of stuff there, no rugby gear in case you are considering getting some of that.

Looks like its all the same as the stuff they had at the ploughing last week

Factory has more ranges, this sale is more of a warehouse, for example for girls there was just 2 or 3 tracksuit types but there was hundreds of them

I have a question, what was the old G logo on old kits from 80s and early 90s? Was that the logo O'Neills used then or was it a different company? I notice it on some O'Neills club anniversary jerseys.

Perhaps this is the guaranteed Irish logo you are thinking about?

Yes, a lot of nó crest generic training tops, tracksuit bottoms, jackets etc stuff there. Nice Dublin stuff (jackets, gillets etc) left this afternoon if that's your thing. Can get gloves for a fiver too which are 18 - 20 euro in shops. All the jerseys left are from a couple of years ago and are not player fit naturally enough.

It's like a normal sportswear shop only just with O'neills stuff, normally a bit cheaper than high street shops
