Probate - UK Domiciled with Irish assets

Question on a personal application for probate:

My father died, UK domiciled, but with one bank account in Ireland (AIB) with approx €70,000 in.

He died in England without a will, so Letters of Administration were issued from the UK Probate courts. However, AIB bank won't release his funds without Irish Probate court issued Letters of Administration.

Therefore, I am going through the personal application for Probate here... part of which needs Inland Revenue Affidavit Form CA24 completing. The CA24 form part 5 says: "Property outside the State passing under the Will/Intestacy of the deceased". Do I need to list all my late fathers assets and bank accounts in the UK (which were already dealt with through the UK Probate) or just the assets in Ireland I need access to?

Thanks for the guidance on this one :)

The CA24 form part 5 says: "Property outside the State passing under the Will/Intestacy of the deceased".

My reading of that is that it is asking about assets outside the state which are being dealt with as part of this application. So anything already dealt with as part of the process of probate in the UK could be omitted.

It would be no harm to add a side note to the Revenue application, pointing out that all of his assets in the UK have already been handled under the UK probate.

Thanks. I was thinking (and hoping) that, but wanted to be sure...
