The best part is that because it was the 80s, these guys were probably serious! Everything about Nitro was supposedly to take each element of rock/metal and extrapolate it to its most extreme perfection, therefore a vocalist with the greatest vocal range of all time who could wail higher than anyone in history, and a guitarist who had a four neck guitar, not a mere double neck who could shred the hind legs off a donkey. They even had some shred bass in one of their songs and a steroidal drummer named Johnny Thunder for their second album.


This song is probably a demonstration in how not to write a song, it's more like a tech demo but the ridiculously high and 30 second sustained wail has yet to be matched.

This is pretty funny, Dragonforce create a song in the style of Nightwish, its surprisingly accurate from a sound perspective. They also did the same thing for Sabaton.
