Hey, we're adopting our first dog and collecting him this weekend. We need to pick up a few bits and pieces for the dog. Collar, harness, toys, bowls, bed etc. Any shop recommendations that provide the best value and not a rip off?

I used Mr Price or dealz or similar with good results for all my doggie needs.Excellent quality and value.

There's a big Maxizoo place in the grounds of Clarehall shopping centre (near the Eddie Rockets) that do most of that kinda stuff for relatively cheap. There's another one on the Malahide Road called equipet (I think) that is a bit better, but a bit more expensive. No idea what the food is like in either, I get my food in "the range" beside Northside SC., who also do the bits you're looking for at a cheap price, but it might be a bit out of your way.
