What paint colour would you pick?

    What accent colour would you pick for this living room combo?

    Main walls: light grey
    Floor: walnut
    Skirting: ivory
    Sofa: blue, as in this link

    So looking for a colour for behind the stove in the fireplace, and on the wall to the side of the brace, which will remain grey.

    Thinking of either a blue or green shade obviously, thinking blue might be overkill with the sofas?

    Hi NIMAN, did you make a choice in the end?
    How did it go.
    We just painted woke downstairs a light grey (Dulux calm cloud), accented in the sitting room with ochre which works.
    Trying to choose another colour to work with it in kitchen dining room. Debating teal, bright orange or a deep purple at the moment, but completely open to suggestions too.

    The main purpose is to put a band of colour across the grey

    I have a light grey hall with a wall painted in Dulux tilbury teal going up the stairs, and it’s a great colour!

    In the end we went for a teal colour.
    Can't remember exact brand or name.

    But it looks well.
