My friend has an android phone, it runs android 5.1 . , i installed the firefox browser 2 days ago.
I made sure it has the latest android updates .
If she uses chrome or firefox she cannot acess her email account.
    her account is here,
    https://more.att.com/mail/
its an att yahoo mail account.
She can read her ATT yahoo email it on any pc or laptop by going to yahoo.com /mail .
If she puts in her password on her phone, it gives a detailed error code,
    6-7 sentence,s long .
She can read gmail on her phone.
I Told her to go to yahoo mail and set up 2 factor authentication
on her account and then link it to a gmail account.
but yahoo mail asks for a a irish phone no,
    a landline ,eg 351 01xxxxxxx .
It doe,s not accept a mobile phone for the purpose of using 2 factor auth,no number like no like o85 xxxxxxx ., o83 etc will be accepted
in the 2 factor auth setup form

Does anyone have any advice as to fix this ?

Just add the email account to an email client on Android, such as Gmail or Outlook?

She can link the Yahoo account to her gmail account. Then she'll get her Yahoo emails in Gmail and will be able to see them on the phone. It can all be done on a PC.
