Name of a 90s 16-pin connector

Hello,

I have some DIY-ish tech here from the 90s and a connector on a ribbon cable got damaged. I would like to get a new one, but I have no idea what the connector is named. It is a 16-pin "male" connector that fits into the same kind of "female" connector as a 16-pin chip. A photo of the connector follows (one leg has broken off).

I would appreciate the name of this connector, so I can look for it on ebay or in stores. Thanks!

Thanks! "DIP" is the word I was looking for.

However, the ones you linked have 3 mm between the two rows. Mine have about 7 mm, similar to a DIP chip. The socket is the same as for a DIP chip.

I tried eBay but the best I could find was this: https://www.ebay.ie/itm/DIP-DIL-Turned-Pin-IC-Socket-Connector-0-3-or-0-6-Pitch/263086678771 . It appears to be the right connector, but getting a ribbon cable to stick in this might be quite hard.

I would appreciate advice on finding a DIP type plug with the right distance between the rows that one could crimp onto a ribbon cable.

P.S. I found it here https://www.jameco.com/z/8200-16-R-Connector-IDC-Flat-Cable-DIP-Plug-16-Pin-0-3-Wide-0-1-Pitch-Gold-Pins_42674.html but I don't really fancy paying for delivery from the US? There's a few other US sources too but I'm failing to find European ones - would much appreciate help.
