Don't think we'll see many changes today maybe a little rotation in midfield is all.

Great to finally be back after a long summer off for telling another thread that I don't think there current manager is good enough (which is proving right each week).

Anyway was a bit surprised we didn't bring another wide forward in during the summer but I must admit i feel there is a real lack of quality for money out there. I reckon the club have a few aces up their sleeve for next summer.

Tough game today but think we just do enough. 3 1 to us hopefully.

    P.s let's talk about six baby !

What if utd made Ole sub manager.. Have him jogging up and down the tunnel until 5mins to go. Massage his shoulders and bring him out to change things.

Imagine we could be 7 points ahead of them at the end of today after only 4 games. Shows our improvement and their decline.

Not that I worry too much about them these days as a team but it will make my pints tonight with a United supporting buddy of mine a lot tastier.

Laporte possibly has a bad knee injury.

Cynical body check type challenge, got a yellow card for it and then stretchered off. Yummy, delicious, sweet, sweet instant karma.

Maybe Ox in for one of Fab/Gini/Hendo, shouldn't need 3 defensive minded lads against Burnley.

Think we've started all our games with three work horses in midfield so I cant see Klopp changing for an away game to Burnley.

Based on these results today it really is the top 2 and then the rest scrapping. This is a weird feeling for me as a Liverpool fan.

Jesus, how slow is your internet connection. Took 3 weeks for your message to post! Close, we beat Norwich 4-1. Looking forward to your reply at the end of September!

It's easy to forget De Bruyne was out for 1/2 the year last year. The other lot would have got 200 points. He'd have been footballer of the year a couple of years ago only for Salah. Would probably make our midfield.

We have no goal scoring midfielder. City have many, and they all chip in.

Anyone cry me a Julie London?

just watching the Arsenal highlights and hadn't seen but for the Matip goal Luiz was hanging off VVD. The goal was scored, the team was celebrating and VVD was arguing furiously with the referee, lol.

No midfielders who score goals apart from Wijnaldum, Ox, Keita, Shaqiri,Milner and Henderson.

Read mentality monsters by Paul Tompkins, I'm always giving out about the lack of goals from our midfield but this book goes along way in explaining why, good book actualy

Not enough that we’re missing out on the points for winning both halves we’re also missing out on the extra points for midfielders scoring.

Our midfield lacks goal creation but our fullbacks literally had a record breaking number of assists last seasons, it's partially by design.

We haven't worn the white kits at all yet have we

Yeah I has a mixed year last year. Sure we won the Champions League but my fantasy football team didn't do great

Midfield can't get a foothold in this

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,404 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Probably too busy thinking about scoring rather than what they’re meant to do.

Alexander Arnold is going to get booked at a throw in soon enough.
